Colours change with daylight, floors and furniture. We narrow the options with you and test real samples on your own walls, so the final choice feels right in your home, not just on a paint chip.

Why Walz

Painting, with a concierge.

Most painting jobs stall on small decisions: which colour, which finish, who buys the paint, what gets moved. We sort those out with you before the first coat.

  • Colour help that's real

We narrow the options with you and test real samples on your walls, in your light.

  • A plan in writing

Surfaces, preparation, colours, materials and what is not included, written down before work starts.

  • Your home protected

Furniture, floors and fixtures are considered and covered during the work.

  • Paint your way

Dave can supply the paint, or you can supply your own.

  • One clear conversation

You know what happens next and who to ask, from the first message to the final coat.

Questions

Good to know before we start.

Clear answers to the questions people ask most. Anything else, just ask Dave.

Ask a question
Is the evaluation really free?

Yes. Dave looks at your space with you, talks through colours, surfaces and timing, and helps you define the work. There is no charge and no obligation.

How is the price worked out?

Every home is different, so there is no one-size price. After the evaluation, the scope is written down: the surfaces, their condition, the preparation, the materials and what is not included. You know what the work covers before anything starts.

How long will my project take?

It depends on the size of the space, the condition of the surfaces and how much preparation they need. Dave gives you the expected timing as part of the plan, so you can organize your days around it.

Do I need to move my furniture?

Before the work starts, Dave tells you what to clear and what can stay. Furniture, floors and fixtures that stay in the room are covered and protected during the work.

Who supplies the paint?

You choose. Dave can supply the paint, or you can supply your own. Either way, the products are agreed in the plan.

Can you help me choose colours?

Yes. That is the heart of the concierge approach. We narrow the options with you and test real samples on your walls, in your light, before you commit.

Do you work in condos and rental units?

Yes. Tell Dave about your building's rules, such as elevator bookings or permitted work hours, so the plan fits them. For rental units, the work can be planned around move-out and move-in dates.

Can exterior work be done any time of year?

Exterior painting needs suitable weather, so it is scheduled for the warmer months. Interior work can be done year-round.

How do I get started?
